Head Instructor Theo Schubert
Sensei Theo Schubert, 6th degree Black Belt
Mr. Schubert has the distinction of being the quickest person to reach the rank of black belt, completing the regime of training in one and half years. He was part of the second black belt class to promote at WSD. Mr. Schubert is one of two head instructors for the school, a demo team member, and veteran team member of our sexual assault prevention program. He is currently pursuing training at WSD while also cross training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Mr. Schubert has been an integral trainer in the last two black belt classes. He shares this valuable experience with fellow instructors Krystle Huddleston and Noah Willsmore making them the most trained and experienced instructors in the black belt training curriculum of our program. Mr. Schubert is one of only four instructors who is authorized to conduct black belt training. He is a registered EMT and is pursuing a degree in Paramedicine. He is currently taking classes in eskrima.
Mr. Schubert was promoted to the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt on July 1, 2007.
