Sensei Hjordes, 2006
Ms. Remme and her two daughters began training at WSD 5/21/2003. They joined Woodall’s while searching for practical, realistic self-defense and are all still active in the school today.
For many years Hjordes was the operations manager and program coordinator – the “go-to” person for the public, members and staff. She developed the Child Safety Program for WSD, taught both child and adult classes, and continues to study self-defense education and psychology with the goal of creating a stronger, safer community and helping to keep Woodall’s the leader in practical self-defense. She has many years experience in management, business operations, childhood education, and state-certified foster parenting. Ms. Remme also designed and updates the website.
Ms. Remme was promoted to the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt on February 11th, 2006.
